Corruptor Hunt

Corruptor, it was a name given to those who did rotten and inhuman deeds to get money. Corruptor's would often sell people off, steal something to sell it off or rob someone of all their money and much more for the blood green money of the world.

To combat the Corruptors, a special task force was assembled by the government to act on it's own to catch them and bring them to justice. Due to recent events the government has fallen into chaos allowing more Corruptors to do as they wish, but the task force got a tip on a big Corruptor with a large plan in mind. The task force mobilized it's two best agents to deal with the person.

The two people were Iris Skyblue, a young female with long blue hair with a purple outfit and thigh highs with a light blue jacket and was always a joyful person. The other is Arthur Rutley, a young man with short brown hair wearing a brown coat with black shirt under it with blue jeans and brown boots.

Iris and Author often worked together on missions, though young Iris has been a spy since she was 8 and was well skilled while Author has been one since his teens.

They had traveled to a small town to find the Corruptor and after some searching they learned he was meeting with someone at a local restaurant and so they both headed there to scope out the scene.

They had arrived a little early to get a good seat that would allow them to look around without being obvious of doing so.  

"This is a nice place." Author commented.

"Yeah, places like these in small towns are often the best." Iris said with a nod as they ordered some light food. As they made small talk their target, Marco who was a tall blonde business looking man entered the place and sat in a far off corner.

"That him?" Author asked.

"Yeah." Iris said nodding. "He's known as a major kidnaper Corruptor."

"Who is worth kidnapping in this town?"

"If I had to guess the mayor's daughter, she is a thing of beauty and has high interest in politics."

"Those are some major traits in the kidnapping world." Author commented as his eyes suddenly widen and he spun away as shady looking man soon join Marco at his table.

"Whats the matter?" Iris asked concern.

"That man who just sat down, I know him." Author said worried.

"Know him from where?"

"We use to go to school together, his name is Trever and he was always getting into trouble." He said as the two men began to talk.

"Don't look, but you have company." Trever said to his business partner Marco.

"Oh?" Marco said slightly glancing back to see Iris and Author. "How do you know that?"

"That man sitting with that hot chick, he used to be a school goody goody back in middle school. I find it hard to believe someone with so much skill ended up in this back water town." He said scowling.

"I recognize that female he is with from my black book, she is a spy for the government Corruptor task force." He said now also scowling. "I guess we'll have to cancel this job."

"Hell no, this job is too big." Trevor argued as Author looked troubled.  

"I'll have to back out." Author sighed. "I'll just put the mission at risk."

"No way, the agency is stretch thin as is and I can't do this alone. I highly doubt he recognize you."

"I think he would, those down in the gutter often glare at those high up in the world. I only recognize him from a year book photo after all." Author said concerned.

"We'll just have to act before they do." Iris said with a smile as Author sighed in defeat.

"Fine, we'll do this but they need to be silenced." Marco stated firmly.

"It's a done deal." Trever said taking out his cell phone. "I always bring my cleanup crew with me." He said grinning as both parties just enjoyed their meal while keeping a close eye on one another.

"Well that was simple, he's staying in the hotel a few blocks down." Author said as he and Iris got back to their hotel room where their equipment was left at.

"So how should we do it?"

"He is sure to be on guard till he pulls off the kidnapping, so I'll try and get into his hotel room tonight to bug his room to learn more of their plans. You should head over to city hall and find some place to set up a sniping point. Apparently the mayor's daughter is interning at City hall for the summer so Marco will most likely kidnap her there. I'll bust him in the middle of the act while you cover me." Author explained.

"Sounds like a good plan." Iris said opening up a suit case to reveal her magnum sniper rifle and Maverick gun and as they did a check on their equipment, several dark dressed men holding powerful guns began to surround their room.

As Author grabbed his dual infinity pistols, he began to open his other suitcase for disguise clothing when Iris suddenly jolted upward having a threating feeling.

"Author!" She cried out making him quickly realize what was about to happen and managed to leap over the bed and pull her down to the ground in time as a hell fire of bullets came busting through the room door eating up the bed mattress they hid behind.

"Dammit, he did recognize me." He cursed as they both cocked their gun and once the gun fire lessen they began to return fire.

"We're out numbered!" Iris shouted as they crouched back down as more bullets came flying in getting closer to eating through the mattress.

"Dammit, the window!" He said pointing one of his guns at it and busting the glass with a few shots as they waited for the fire to die down.

Once the rain of bullets lessen again, Iris made a run for the window as Author stood up and gave her cover fire as some of the men were standing in the doorway. He took out three of them making the others hide waiting for a good chance to fire back.

"Come on! My barrels aren't even hot yet!" He said still firing knowing he was about to run out of bullets.

"Author!" Iris cried out as she began to fire her gun outside.

"Shit!" He said rushing for the window as the men in the hallway began to fire back again and he managed to get outside before any of the bullets got him. Once outside he saw Iris holding her own as she kept a gang of men at bay. "Iris, we're retreating!" He shouted as she agreed.

Author leapt over to another roof and waited for Iris who suddenly cried out as a black cord suddenly wrapped around her left ankle causing her to trip and fall off the roof.

"No!" She cried out losing her balance making her lose her gun and hang from the end of grapple from a large gun one of the men was holding.

"Iris!" Author scream trying to get to her but more of the men appeared firing at him making Author run for cover as they fired on him. He tried to return fire but as he knew his guns ran out of bullets and since he wasn’t in a spot to reload he had to start running. "Dammit, no choice." He said vanishing from sight

"Looks like he got away." One of them said as he and some others approached the hanging Iris who had passed out from the shock of the fall. "Don't worry, we have the perfect bait to lure him out." The leader said with a grin as they hoisted Iris up.

Sometime later, Author return to the hotel area to see it empty of the assassins and he slowly entered his room to see a picture with a small note. He went over and picked it up with his eyes widening as the picture showed Iris bound and gagged tied to a chair with rope as a twisted cloth ran between her lips.

"Iris!" Author said in disgust jerking the photo forward and upon doing so he heard a snap sound and noticed a very thin wire attached to the photo. "What the?" He said following it down under the bed to reveal a time bomb that was already at two seconds. "Shit!" He said running towards the door and jump into a roll as the bomb went off not far behind him sending him jolting forward throwing him against the wall.

"Gahhh! D-Damn, these, these guys aren't playing around." He thought slowly getting up brushing the dust off of his outfit and looked inside of the burning hotel room. He looked back at the picture to see he was to come to the old warehouse district in town. Hurrying away from the blast scene, he made his way to the warehouse to rescue his partner.

"Did the bomb get him?" The leader asked as Iris sat in the background grunting loudly into her gag and struggling in the chair.

"Afraid not sir, there are signs he walked away."

"Dammit, if only that bomb didn't have a requirement of five seconds he would be dead." The leader said irritated. "Up the security, he's on his way." He said as the grunt nodded and ran off.

"Mrpmmmm." Iris moan relieved knowing Author survived. She began to twist and struggle in the ropes trying to get free, being a spy she was use to this but it seems the bad guys this time were boy scouts at one time for roping tying.

"He's here!" Someone yelled as the sounds of gunfire began to echo from outside.

"Alright everyone, fill this guy full of lead!" The assassin leader said as most of the men ran outside leaving Iris alone with one guard.

"Mrpmmmmm." She moan trying to look cute and sexy for her bodyguard.

"Trying to look cute huh? Don't worry, you'll join your partner soon." He assured her walking towards Iris with a grin till he was in her face. "Although, it be a waste to just off a cutie like you." He said as his hand rested on her thigh making her mad as it slowly moved up her leg.

"Rrmrpm!" She glared at the man who was grinning.

"What do you say? It might save your life for a few more hours." He offered getting closer to her panties.

"Npmpm." She stated clearly before she suddenly raised up her arms from behind the chair showing she had untied herself and gave the man a good punch across the side of the face sending him flying.

Iris grinned as she untied herself and removed her gag as she help herself to his gun and ammo.

"The thought was nice and all, but I will pass." She stated as the grunt was left unconscious.

Author was running through the streets, picking the assassins off one by one as they were in the middle of a fierce gunfire. What Author didn't realize was that they were slowly leading him into a trap which he fell for and soon he was standing in the middle of a four way cross section with guys with guns surrounding him from the ground and roof tops.

"Dammit." Author said raising his hands up.

"Don't bother, you won't live long enough to surrender." The leader said raising his hand up to give the ending signal  but before he could bring it down several of his men dropped from gun fire. "The hell?" He said turning to see Iris firing at them and with their attention on her Author was able to open fire from his side taking down several more of the men before rushing back into hiding along with Iris.

"This is turning into a mess." The leader said as he was about to order them to chase after them before he got a call to retreat. "Wonderful, everyone pull back now!" He ordered as his guys helped the wounded and retreated from the area.

"Iris, you alright?" Author asked with concern meeting up with her.  

"Yeah, a little rope burn on my wrists but I'll be fine." Iris said with a nod as they witness the assassins retreat. "Why are they retreating?" She asked as Author was making a call of his own and looked grim upon talking to someone.

"Looks like they got the mayor's daughter while we were playing this game of theirs." He said in disgust.

"So, we botched the mission?" Iris said looking sad.

"No, I left some watchers at the edge of town and one of them said they saw a red van heading south at a fast pace. That must be them."

"Guess we give chase then." Iris said as Author nodded and they headed off and try and pick up the trail that was getting cold as today was just another day in the life of a spy.
