Nightmare before Christmas: Oogie Needs a Heart



In the creepy dark moon lit world of Halloween town, where bats and witches flew around the dark knight as pumpkins laughed on the ground below it's citizens began to gather. The clock had struck twelve signaling it was October 31st meaning it was Halloween and so its citizens came forward and preform their annual Halloween ritual.

"Boys and girls of every age
Wouldn't you like to see something strange?

Come with us and you will see
This, our town of Halloween

This is Halloween, this is Halloween
Pumpkins scream in the dead of night!"

As they performed their song and did ghastly scares, Yoruko watched from the sidelines dressed in her Halloween world outfit which was a ghost rocker type outfit. It consisted of a black hat on her head with a brown guitar case strap to her back with a long black glove on her left arm with a sleeveless belly revealing black shirt on her upper body with blue shorts, black thigh socks and brown knee high boots.

Yoruko was humming along to the catchy tune bobbing her head from side to side in joy. She wanted to celebrate Halloween in style this year so she came to the best town for it after having a horrible time in Agrabah where some thieves had tricked her and managed to tie her up and bandit gag her. No matter how many times she came to this world to watch this which the whole town did it, she had to wonder who they were doing it for. Some god? Some unknown force? She only knew it was a great song and often remain stuck in her head for weeks to come. As she was about to unzip the guitar case and start using it, something interrupted the party.

"In this town, don't we love it now?
Everybody's waiting for the next surprise

Round that corner, man hiding in the trash can
Something's waiting now to pounce, and how you'll..."

As the creatures were about to say scream, there was instead a roar as countless heartless appeared crashing the party.

"Oh come on! Can't I get a break?" Yoruko complained as the heartless quickly messed up things and ran off towards the grave site. "Well, I did come to have a party." Yoruko said with a smirk as she set down her guitar and held up her right hand making five ghostly Will-O-Wisps flames appear on the tips of them. She threw her hand up making the five flames swirl around her body spinning very quickly as they zig-zag all over her and when they vanished in a bright flash of heavenly glow Yoruko was in her cheer leader outfit. It had a red top with a grey skirt with red thigh socks and thigh grey boots and she did it with a pose by bending her left arm behind her head and bending her right leg backwards and having her right hand rest on it.

"Oh yeah, changing in style. Now those heartless will wish they had fun with this instead of wrecking things." She said as she put on her red blindfold and then summon her keyblade to give chase.

It didn't take Yoruko long to catch up and dispatch the heartless, though in this world their attacks were rather annoying to deal with. In the end she stood victorious and made her keyblade vanish.

"I hope they salvage the party." Yoruko said as she made her back towards town. As she was about to dawn her Halloween outfit again she noticed three shadows appear out of nowhere. "Just don't give up don't you!?" She said drawing her keyblade once more and slashed at the three small figures which sent their heads flying upwards and land back down with a clunk.

"What the?" Yoruko cried out as she saw that she cut three wood fakes of a local trouble making group of Lock, Shock and Barrel.

Before she could process what was going on the three real ones had leap at her from the shadows each holding rope and cackling as they landed and cling to Yoruko's body.

"Hey!" She barely cried out as they began to wrap the rope around the middle of her body and the sudden commotion caused Yoruko to drop her keyblade making it vanish into light. "Gahhhh!" She cried out as she struggled against their rope binding in hopes of throwing them off of her and get free.

"Hehehehehehe." All three of them laughed as they kept binding her tightly with the rope.

"Get ofmphm!" Yoruko tried to yell at them before Shock had revealed a pair of dirty white cloths and forced one into her mouth and tied the other over her mouth. "Rmrprmrmr!" She yelled out louder as the trio finally jump down from her body in three directions and pulled hard at the strand of rope they held onto making the rope get tighter around her body making it hard for Yoruko to breath.

"Mrpmm." She groan as she fell to her knees as she tried to wiggle her arms free of the rope that ran around her chest and arms.

"Hehehe, we got her!" Barrel yelled out.

"Told you this work!" Lock said.

"No you didn't, you thought this fail!" Shock scolded him as they began to get into a fight.

"Hey now guys we got a job to finish." Lock reminded them.

"Then let’s get her back to the hideout." Shock said as they began to drag her forward to a standing cage.

"Mrprmrmr!" Yoruko cried out as she didn't have the strength to resist the three kids who began to sing.

"Kidnap the key wielders
Tie them in a bag
Throw them into a cage
Trick them to falling down
See if they get happy!"

The trio sang as they forced Yoruko into the cage and tied the three rope ends to the cage walls with no slack trapping her like that.

"Kidnap the key wielders, beat them with their key
Lock them away for ninety years, see what makes them tick
And then take their heart!"

They sang as they began to cart Yorkuo back to their hide out.

"Mrrmprmrmr!" She cried out praying for help over the trio’s loud laughter.

Kiyux was currently located in Twilight town, she came for the yearly contest they held and it was down to Hayner and Seifer each holding a plastic bat as they glared into each other’s eye. She didn't know why, but she was always amused by their struggles and senseless beatings. Though she did owe them after they had saved her once from a local gang that had knocked her out by surprise and woken up bound and gagged and in the end was saved by the two boys.  

As she watched and got a bit excited at how quickly things were getting good in their fight as either could go down at any second, she suddenly sensed Yoruko in trouble in another world.

"That girl...." Kiyux grumbled as she had but no choice in leaving this world and go towards Halloween world. Once she landed in Halloween town her outfit changed to that of a cute female vampire which consisted of red and gold bow holding her hair in a tie. A yellow sleeveless tank top with a brown skirt that stuck out in a perfect round circle and knee high brown boots. In her right hand she held onto a large red heart shape sucker that she enjoyed nibbling her new fangs on.

"Now then...." Kiyux said as she looked the town over to see it badly messed up. "Some party." She commented as she started to look the town over but saw no one and especially not her other half till she finally saw her guitar case. "This is a part of her outfit." She noted as she look towards the gravesite where the trail to it was clear as if a bunch of heartless ran down the path.

With no other choice Kiyux ran towards the gravesite with her keyblade at her side ready to take on anything that would creep out of the shadows. As she ran she began to slow down as the trail was getting cold. "Dammit Yoruko where are you?" Kiyux cursed as she couldn't sense where her sister was exactly at.

As she was about to turn back into town to look for another lead, she noticed something out of the corner of her eye and ran over and picked up a red blindfold cloth. "This is Yoruko's." She said looking around after picking up the blindfold. "Great, this is that sack of bugs doing." She said rushing forward but before she got far she stepped on a wide orange cloth on the ground and some cackling noises were herd.

"Who's there?" Kiyux said stopping and dropping down to an attack stance.

"A one!" Shock said.

"A two!" Barrel shouted out.

"Two and half!" Lock said which was followed by a smack sound.

"Show yourselves and I'll make your beating fifty whacks less!" Kiyux said as she found their hiding spot but still didn't move but took the moment to change into her cheerleader outfit which was a complete grey version of her Yoruko's.

"Three!" All three tricksters shouted out as four lines began to gleam around Kiyux.

"What the?" Kiyux said as she noticed the lines were spider strings which the three kids held the other end and they pulled hard on the string making cloth Kiyux was standing on lurch upward forcing her to let go of her keyblade which landed on the ground with a clang and the four corners of the cloth came together to form a bag.

"Let me go!" Kiyux's muffled voice could be herd through the orange and black skull pattern bag as she squirm and kick about inside the bag. The tricksters lowered the bag back down and wrapped the spider string around the top sealing the bag and began to sing their tune.

"Kidnap the key wielders
Tie them in a bag
Throw them into a cage
Trick them into falling down
See if they get happy!"

The trio sang as they took some rope and wrapped a few coils around the bag which was over Kiyux's upper body and arms and then around her thighs and lower legs.

"Stop!" Kiyux shouted out as she began to squirm and kick more and her only response was a very thick green cloth tied around her face area further muffling her complaints.

Kidnap the key wielders, beat them with their key
Lock them away for ninety years, see what makes them tick
And then take their heart for the boss!"

They sang as they dragged the kicking and squirming Kiyux away towards their base.

In the vast blue oceans of Atlantica swam Xeni which she recently got her eye sight back. Overjoyed by this she decided to go to the one world she wanted to experience with the return of her sight and that was Atlantica. She gazed over the many different color swimming fish, the deep blue ocean water and the beautiful colors of oversize clams and coral. Being she was in this water world, her appearance took on that of a mermaid which gave her a dark blue fish bottom and her clam bra was also dark blue in color.

Even though she enjoy herself, she enjoy it too much as she didn't pay attention and got wrapped up and gagged in seaweed a few times and took a little struggling to break free.

"It's almost painful to think I may never have seen this." She said as she swam around care free but suddenly stop and floated in the spot she remained. "They’re in trouble." She said as she could feel her apprentices in danger. Not wasting another moment she swam quickly towards her ship to get to Halloween town.

Once landing in the town, she took on the local appearance of a witch making her outfit into a white top with a long over flowing red skirt that went up below her breasts with a white underlay and beneath that a black and green strip skirt that went down to her ankles. In her hand was her blue blindfold and in the other a broom that was slightly crooked at the tip.

"What a mess." She said as she saw the locals cleaning up Halloween town. "No doubt the heartless." She said as she put her blindfold back on as she was more use to fighting with it on. Wasting no time she began to question the locals.

After getting the wolf man to stop howling, he explained how some dark creatures appeared and ran off after trashing everything. Once he was done, the three witches also appeared adding more gruesome details, being more detailed than they needed to be. What satisfied Xeni was that some ghost rock girl had chase after the creatures meaning it was Yoruko. What worried her though was that she never came back.

Finding some ghosts they happily explained about another strange vampire girl appearing suddenly and raced off towards the gravesites which told Xeni that Kiyux came here to rescue Yoruko and no doubt failed. Xeni questioned a few more residents including a tree with talking skeletons hanging from its branches and explained he saw three shadows running about strangely all night. She then asked the vampires if they see anything but they didn't know anything more but they did want Kiyux's number.

Deciding the town citizens didn't know anymore she went to the local leader's home which was Jack Skellington but found he was missing as well since the party. She headed to the mad doctors lab to see if Jack was there but all she got was some strange white guy with a metal head trying to trick her into an experiment.

Heading out towards the gravesite, Xeni began to piece everything together. Her students vanishing, three odd shadows, and the town's leader missing. Taking a moment to think it all through, Xeni came to the conclusion this was the work of Oogie Boogie and everyone was no doubt being held at Oogie's Manor. Wasting no more time she ran towards the oversized tree house and up to the top level that held the elevator to go down to Oogie’s lair.

Once reaching the top she carefully entered into the room but suddenly stop as she felt the floor grew weak as if she was heading towards a part that would easily give out to any weight that step on it.

"I'm not up for kids games." She spoke out.

"No fair!" Barrel cried out.

"Yeah! That was supposed to work!" Shock said.

"You cheated somehow!" Lock said as they came out of hiding each brandishing a weapon.

"There is no need to cheat to avoid a kid trap." Xeni said as she grabbed her keyblade and as she did she also changed into her cheerleader outfit in a bright flash as the skirt of her Halloween outfit was not suitable for combat and her cheerleader outfit was purple color in top, skirt and socks while the boots and gloves were grey.

"I'll show you a kid’s trap!" Shock shouted as she rushed the key blade warrior but Xeni easily sidestep her and gave her a small whack with the keyblade making her two brothers laugh. "Stop laughing and fight!" Shock yelled as they all rush her at once but with quick movements of her keyblade she disarmed them, broke their masks and looked at them in a terrifying way through the blindfold that made all three kids cower in fear.

"Where are they?" Xeni demanded to know.

"W-who?" Lock asked with a quivering voice.

"I guess I forgot to mention about how I hate kid games." Xeni said as she whacked them once more with her keyblade and sent them into the floor trap meant for her. The floor did give out sending the trio falling straight down to Oogie's lair and they scream all the way down.

"Don't mind if I take the elevator." Xeni said as she did just that and once it reach the bottom and she step out she saw the three tricksters struggling in sticky spider web net above her.

"Let us out!" All three demanded as they squirm and swing in midair.

"I think you three need a timeout." Xeni said as she continue further into the lair with their screams to her back till she found Oogie's fun room.

"Come out Boogie." Xeni demanded as she wasn't in a good mood about being all the way in here. A sudden catchy beat that started to play only made her mood worse as different color lights began to shine.

"Well, well, well, what have we here?
A key user, huh?
So you're the two pup’s master,
I was expecting more!
Oh, I'm really not scared

You can't be the right gal
You're blind, too cute!
I don't know which is worse
I might just split a seam now
lf I just don't die laughing first

Well if I'm feelin' antsy
And there's nothin' much to do
I might just cook a special batch
Of snake and spider stew, cutie style!"


"Stop this singing madness and release my friends now!" Xeni demanded as Oogie laughed as her voice somehow fell within the tune of the song as the sack of bugs danced around the room.


"Oh, brother, you're something gal
You put me in a spin
You aren't comprehending
The position that you're in
It's hopeless, you're finished
You haven't got a prayer
'Cause I'm Mr. Oogie Boogie
And you ain't going nowhere but in my heart gal!"


"Gahh, I hate this damn song!" Xeni said pointing her keyblade at the sack of bugs. "Where are they!?"

"Why right here!" Boogie said as he flipped up his roulette table revealing Yoruko and Kiyux which they were laying on the table with their legs spread and over lapping another as spider webbing over their mouths muffling their pleas as black straps held them down to the table and they struggled to break free.

"Don't worry, I'll save you guys!" Xeni assured them.

"HA! Who's going to save you though?" Boogie said with a laugh as a few bugs escaped from his mouth.

"I don't need anyone to save me." Xeni said as she wanted to rush him but his gun slinging slot bots had their guns trained on her apprentices.

"That is where you are wrong girly! Now surrender or I'll make sure this table stops on instant death!" Boogie assured her with a low laugh as Xeni slightly lowered her keyblade but didn't completely give up.

"There is no way I can surrender, to give up in the hands of this mad thing is too insane." Xeni thought and as she did a small spider had worked its way from the ceiling and down to her. By the time she noticed the green bug it was too late as it already pricked her making her hold her neck in pain as she fell to her knees. "Gahh, that hell was that?"

"You’re in my court now girly! And in here everyone is on Boogie's side!" He said with a laugh as Xeni's could feel her vision began to blur.

"Mrprmrrpm!" Yoruko and Kiyux cried out through their sticky gag as Xeni drop her keyblade and passed out onto the dirty stone cold floor.

"Gaahraharhahaha! Boogie wins again." Oogie said as he gave his captured two women a taste of his paralyzing bugs and then dragged all three together to bind them tightly.

"Mrpmrmmhff?" Xeni groaned as she started to come around and when she gain her senses she noticed that she could see and that she was pinned against something warm as something tight was pressed over her chest.

She looked to her sides to see her students Yoruko and Kiyux tied along with her back to back to back with brown rope overlapping their chests.

"Mrpmm." She moan out to them, being sorry for failing to rescue them.

"Mmrprmmmm." They both moan back saying it was alright, they had both horribly failed to stop their own kidnapping. All three of them began to struggle to try and break free, but Yoruko was the only one out of them who enjoyed it. Kiyux as she struggled remembered how Boogie had drag all three of them together and force them onto their knees and wrap a thick layer of rope from the top of their breasts, which he skip over their breasts so they budged out through the rope and all the way down to their bent knees covering both their thighs and shins.

She hated it more as the sack of bugs had ripped off her and Yoruko's webbing gag which was more painful than one would think. He then took Yoruko's blindfold and tied it over Kiyux’s nose and mouth while he gagged her master with her own blindfold OTM style and of course Yoruko got off easy by getting a thick layer of tape wrapped over her mouth and lips. They then watched him laugh as he walked off leaving them to struggle till their master woke up.

Now that Xeni was awake, they were no better off and the bug sack was due back at any moment. As they struggled through Kiyux's skin often crawled as she could hear tiny bugs scattering about in the darkness of Boogie's lair.

After a little more struggling and grunting into their gags, a certain laughter could be herd as Boogie came into view smiling as bugs and a snake crawled out from his mouth and he jumbled some dice with his right sack hand.

"Well I hope you enjoy your nap, because it's the last nap you will get ever again!" Boogie said laughing as he took some more rope in his other sack hand and wrapped it around the middle of their chests making the bindings that much more tighter.

"Rmrmrrmprrffmfmpr!" All three groaned as Kiyux glared at him, Xeni looked worried and Yoruko still enjoyed the bindings.

"So key wielders! Do you like dice games, babydolls? What about THIS little game? I call it the Boogie-Roulette! From 1 to 3, you'll be cut into very tiny pieces! From 4 to 6, you'll be burned oh so slowly! From 7 to 11 I'll cook and serve you as my next delicious meal! And with a 12... Well, I'll just roll'em all over again! Harharharhaaar!" Boogie explained with a laugh as all three damsels began to struggle knowing his threats were promises that would be done.

"Mrrrmpfmr!" They all grunted as they looked at the dice fearfully.

"But I'm a kind guy, if I get snake eyes I'll let you three go." He promised.

"Mrprmrm?" They looked at him not believing his words.

"Straight into my lava!" Boogie finished as the center of his room floor moved revealing his lava pit.

"Mrprmrm." All three women cried out in fear.

"Of course whatever method I do use will let me take your hearts so I can finally control those blasted heartless and finally rule this town! So that I may restore, Bug Day! Hahahahahahrahhaha!" Boogie laughed as he went over to his gambling table and wrapped the extra rope around a hook that began to lift the three high into the air.

"Rrrmrpmfpmf!" All three women cried out as they began to dangle and sway in the air.

"Gaahahahahrhrhahah!" Boogie laughed as he began to shake the dice. "Do you feel lucky babydolls? Because I do!" Boogie said as he tossed the dice at the wall which they bounced off a skeleton, then off some flying bats, once more against another skeleton skull and finally landing on the table as snake eyes. "Ohhhh, snake eyes! That's too bad ladies!"

Boogie said as he went over to a lever and rested his sack hand on it. He smirked at the three women who were squirming madly and grunting into their gags loudly as they were hovered over his lava.

"This lava will burn away everything but your hearts! Now give boogie some of your love Gahahahaha!" He said as he pulled the lever slowly lowering them into the bubbling lava.

"Mrrmrrpmrmrmrrpmr!" All three of them cried out into their gags as they could feel the extreme heat rise up onto their bodies making them sweat which dampen their outfits.

"This is the end, this is the end! No more cheerleaders and key blade wielders and Oogie finally controls the darkness! It's now time for me as pumpkin king!" He said happily as he danced about as the women vanished below the floor.

"MRPRMRPRMRM!" They all cried out loudly as they were inches from the lava.

"Hheheehhohohahahahah!" Boogie laughed as he held his ear section of his body near the lava waiting to hear their final screams but it never came. "What the?" He said as he threw the lever in reverse which began to pull the rope upwards, but instead of seeing three burnt cheerleaders he instead saw Jack the pumpkin king. "J-J-J-Jack!" Boogie said fearfully backing away.

"Hello Boogie, up to your tricks again I see." Jack said leaping off the rope and in front of him.

"W-w-what, how, but, why?" Boogie said confused.

"No one harms my friends Boogie and those who do will be harmed instead!" Jack promised.

"No! No! no no! Not this time Jack! HEARTLESS!" Boogie shouted out as some ghost heartless appeared. "I will not lose this time." He promised Jack as he backed into the small crowd of heartless. "Now get him!" He ordered but the heartless didn't move. "Didn't you hear me? GET HIM!" Boogie yelled out but the heartless only turn and looked at him. "Wh-wha-what are you looking at?" Boogie said fearfully as they began to crowd him.

"You have no heart, for the heartless Boogie." Jack explained.

"No, no, please, noooooooooo!" Boogie scream out as the heartless began to devour him.

"Good night, Boogie." Jack said quickly leaving as he could hear Oogie's screams.

"Thanks for the save Jack." Yoruko said happily as she and the other two pulled off the last strands of rope from their bodies though Yoruko’s face was red from the tape.

"No problem girls, I'm sorry this Halloween was ruined for you." Jack said with a slightly bow.

"It's no problem." Xeni assured him.

"So how exactly did you save us?" Yoruko asked as they were about to touch the lava when they were surrounded by a swirling mass of black and orange dust with pumpkin shapes in it and then they were suddenly out here with the ropes binding them loose.

"Oh well, that's a bit of a Halloween secret." Jack said waving his bony finger.

"So what happen to bug sack?" Kiyux asked.

"He got what he deserved. The heartless devoured him as he tried to control them." Jack explained.

"How did you find us though?" Xeni questioned.

"That's the odd thing, as I was searching for those heartless I saw a cloaked figure that I thought was-" Jack began to explain and as he did the ground began to shake like mad making everyone do their best to keep their balance.

"Whats going on?!" Kiyux cried out as the Oogie manor behind them suddenly exploded with a dark pillar of darkness. When it cleared the manor and the tree it was built into had become one with Oogie Boogie who cried out as darkness and heartless seep from his mouth and open seams.

"Grrrrooohhahahhhhharrrrnnnn." Oogie cried out as dark threads began to slither out from his giant body.

"What in the great pumpkin!" Jack shouted out as he and the key blade wilders backed away.

"Great, Oogie’s will must have been too much for the heartless and used their power to combine with his manor." Xeni guessed as the base of Oogie’s manor began to fill with both bugs and heartless alike.

"This isn't good." Jack said as Oogie began to suck in a lot of air with his mouth forcing Xeni and the others to form their keyblades and jab them into the ground in order not to be sucked in as Jack used his Soul Robber green slime whip to keep himself in place with a nearby tree. The suction Oogie made only ended as a large shack was pulled into his mouth and he began to chomp on it.

"That's even worse yet!" Jack said looking worried. “If he does that again he will pull in the whole town!”

"Jack, can you buy us sometime? We have an attack that will stop him dead." Xeni asked pulling her keyblade out of the ground.

"You got it." Jack said nodding as he used his Soul Robber to swing over to the manor.

"Alright ladies, Eternal Light!" Xeni said holding her keyblade in front of her.

"Right." Kiyux said doing the same.

"Mrrmprmfffpm!" Yoruko cried out making Kiyux and Xeni spin around to see some of the purple threads from the large Oogie manor binding and gagging Yoruko. "Mrmrpmrmmnnrrn!" She cried out again as the strings tighten around her body.

"Yoruko!" Xeni cried out as Kiyux shook her head.

"God, I'm embarrassed to be her nobody sometimes." Kiyux shook her head as the strings weren’t that tough. More snake up on Xeni and Kiyux but they noticed them and easily dispatched them with a few hits.

"She clearly hasn't been following my training about sensing your surroundings." Xeni said disappointed.

"Mrrmnnn." Yoruko lowered her head in shame as she had been spending her time exploring new worlds instead.

With a few more hits with their keyblades, Yoruko was finally free and landed on the ground on her butt.

"Owww." She cried out as she got up and rubbed her sore rear.

"You deserve it." Kiyux said coldly.

"Ummm, ladies!" Jack called out as he was being swarm with heartless.

"Talk later!" Xeni said as they took their positions.

"Lost in Darkness, Overcome all Uneasiness. Fight with all your Might, come forth Eternal Light!" They chanted as they pointed their brightly glowing keyblades at the Oogie manor and with a bright flash they fired off a huge beam of light at it.

"Gaaaahahhrrrnnnoooooooo!" The Oogie manor cried out as Jack swing himself to the outer land edge in time as the manor exploded in a huge cloud of light and darkness leaving nothing but ruins behind of what was once the manor.

"I'll get you! I'll get you all! My bugs will-" Oogie's brain bug said as Jack held it in his hand and crushed it with all his might tossing the green smudge into the large hole that was once the manor.

"Good bye for good, Oogie." Jack said as he patted his bony hands clean.

"Sorry that took so long." Xeni said with a smile.

"I'm just glad you were around, no telling what would have happened otherwise." Jack said.

"So what were you saying about the reaper?" Kiyux asked still curious.

"Right, I thought the Reaper had finally come to our Halloween party. But as I followed him he suddenly vanished into this dark portal. As I started to come back I heard Oogie’s annoying song and then found you guys." Jack explained.

"Hrrrmmmm." Xeni thought it over as Jack became sad.

"But now Halloween is ruined." Jack said glumly.

"Hrmmm, maybe we can help?" Yoruko offered with a smile as Kiyux had a feeling she should make a run for it.

Halloween! Halloween! Halloween! Halloween!"

The residents sang as they finished their holiday night with a parade. In the front of it was Yoruko back in her Halloween outfit which she was jamming out with her guitar on a moving stage. Behind her Kiyux back in her Halloween town outfit was a decoration as she was trapped in a coffin with cloth binding her down to it and some over her mouth keeping her protesting grunts silent as a fake stake appeared to be stabbing her.
