Silky Nightmare

"Gahh, sorry I'm late guys." Mina groaned, coming home late carrying a bunch of stuff and nearly tripped but managed to catch herself. "Chemistry class was being a real pain in my-" She began to say as she stopped and looked towards the bedrooms to see everything that should be in Alex's bedroom outside and propped against her door. "Ummmm, why is everything in Alex's bedroom outside and against her door?"

"She's being paranoid again." Hana said channel surfing.

"She gets like this every Halloween." Natalie noted sitting at the table reading cheerleading magazines. "But this year we scored! She paid us both $100 just to take all her stuff out and prop it against the doorway, so there is no way anything could get to her door."

"It's sad, but she is in her empty room huddled against the corner holding holy water and a cross." Hana added. “Don’t ask why it’s not all stacked on the inside.”  

"Look, I know things got weird last Halloween, but that doesn't mean ghosts and such exist." Mina said setting her stuff down on a far off counter.

"Forget her, what’s all that stuff?" Natalie asked as Mina held up a small plastic container which had holes on the top showing a tiny brown spider on the inside. "I was supposed to change the color of this spider with some chemicals, but I couldn't get it right." She said putting it back down next to some chemicals she had brought home.

"Ack! Get that thing away from me!" Natalie said already on the opposite side of the room as she clung to the walls.

"What? You don't like spiders?" Mina asked curious.

"No! They are gross. Thank god there aren't any big ones!"

"I actually did read something recently about a spider being found that is big as a kids arm." Hana noted. “Train it and get plenty of them and I’m sure someone could actually be webbed up.”

"Ahhh! I don't want to hear that!" Natalie said clamping her hands over her ears humming loudly as Hana chuckled.

"Well enough of this arachnophobia, you ready Hana? The parties never wait." Mina said walking towards the door as Hana got up.

"Ready if you are."

"Sure you don't want to come Natalie?"

"No, someone should stay here to comfort Alex." Natalie said honestly.

"Well, when she is done being scared you know where to find us." Hana said as they left, when they closed the door it was closed pretty hard making a vibration race through the apartment and enough to spill some of the chemicals onto the top of the container holding the spider. The chemicals mixed together and dripped through the holes and onto the scuttling creature.

"Hmmmm, I should get something sweet to eat." Natalie said getting up and headed towards the kitchen smelling something funny unaware it was the chemicals filling the room.

Twenty minutes later, Natalie walked out of the kitchen holding a plate of cookies and some bite size candy along with a glass of milk. "Now then, what does the horror channel have playing tonight?" She began to say as she stepped on something and looked down to see her purple sock stuck in something gooey and sticky. "Hey! What the?" She said tugging hard.

"Alright Hana, very fun-ny?" Natalie said looking up only to see what was once their clean apartment now full of fresh spider silk all strung together in webs which covered everything. "Ahhhhhhhh!" Natalie just looked on in shock, her face more blue than a blueberry as the once tiny spider, now slightly larger than a human with a silk like pattern on it’s body, slowly began to descend on Natalie from its large web.

Natalie stood frozen where she was at, trying to make sense at what she was seeing and her heart stopped as the large spider's legs wrapped around her body and she quickly felt a small prick feeling on her backside.

"GAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Natalie scream bloody murder as her whole being went limp into the spider's grasp and was slowly pulled upward towards the web while Alex did nothing in her room despite hearing the blood curdling scream.

In her room, Alex still remain in the corner holding some holy items while doing a prayer and chant for heavenly luck on her situation unaware of the horrors happening outside of her room. Natalie was planted near the center of the large web, which she would remain stuck at as the spider and other tiny spiders began to envelop her form in an even weave of gooey silk that quickly form into a soft layer of spider webbing.

“Ngng.” Natalie groan lowly wanting to die as the spider made happy sounds with its first captured prey.

"It never fails, you go somewhere and you forget something!" Hana grumbled pulling out her key and opened the door to their apartment, as she pushed on it through the door didn't budge. "What the hell?" She said turning the knob harder and pushing. "What is this?! Alex! Open the door! You have your room!" Hana said thinking this was her prank pushing harder on the door. "Natalie! Open this door now or so help me you both can spend the rest of Halloween tied up!" She threaten giving the door a look that should make it break.

Sighing, Hana looked at the door crack between the wall to see the bolt wasn't in place and since the knob turned it was unlocked. Taking a deep breath, Hana turn the knob and then pushed herself against the door with all of her might, pushing on the floor with the full strength of her legs till finally the door opened and she went stumbling in.

"Okay, what the helllll-what the fuck?!" Hana scream out as the entire apartment was now webbed up in even thicker silk. "If this is a prank, it's really good." Hana said becoming slightly nervous finding the webbing covering everything to be too real to believe. "Alex? Natalie?" She called out and heard a whimper sound from above, scared as she was Hana slowly crane her head up and looked shocked at what she saw.

"N-N-Natalie?" Hana said weakly seeing her friend webbed to a very large spider web that span their entire ceiling. Off towards a corner and near the middle was Natalie, webbed up pretty securely and she grunted and struggled in the web having a scared pleading look on her face.

"How the hell?" Hana said backing up a little and then realized something and looked over to where Mina had left her science stuff to see the area destroyed as if something suddenly got big. "Oh shit!" Hana said attempting to run back out of the apartment, but as she did she suddenly tripped and fell to the floor finding a thick glob of webbing was stuck to her back right ankle which pulled off her shoes. "Dammit!" She cursed trying to get up but her heart stopped when she felt something land on top of her, several prickly hairs jabbed into her skin as if they were tiny needles injecting a weak numbing venom into her body.

"Grnrnrhh." Hana grunted going limp on the ground as she was forced to stare down at the blue carpet as she could feel something happening with her legs. She wasn't sure what it was since she couldn’t move, but had a feeling it related to Natalie's problem.

Hana was right, as the spider had worked its silk hole over Hana's feet and began to squirt out a thickly glob of webbing over her legs and with its own hind legs began to smooth and shape the gooey stuff into smooth perfect silk around her body.

"Stop, please! Oh god stop!" Hana began to whimper crying softly as the spider worked its way up Hana's body, flipping her over occasionally to remind the dark haired girl of the nightmarish horror she was facing.

Every time Hana was flipped over, she could barely see the thick gooey silk getting closer to her face and once most of her body below her neck was webbed up pretty good the spider began to carry her towards the web.

"ALEX!" Hana managed to scream, as the spider's hairs finally left her body alone long enough to allow Hana to struggle weakly as she was planted on the web near Natalie as the spider finished the process by webbing Hana up more sensing she was stronger than Natalie.

"I'm not coming out!" Alex shouted from her bedroom starting clearly she wouldn't peek out till the sun rise. "Although." She said clamping her thighs together. "I do need some water and use the bathroom....." She said not wanting to leave the safety of her room, but she slowly went up to the door and knocked. "Hey, you guys can let me out for a minute right?" She called out not hearing anyone. "Guys? Please don't scare me! I paid you $100 for heaven’s sake!" She said, waiting minutes without hearing anything and then tried her door to see it opened right up.

"Ummm guys?" She said stepping out to see all of her stuff knocked away. "Guys?!" She called out again, her heart beating like a fast drum as she slowly walked out into the living room where she turn as white as her top and socks were. "Oh god, why me?" Alex said falling to her knees as she saw a very large spider, webbing up Hana and Natalie.

She just stared in horror and without realizing it her body made a bolt towards the front door which was still left open. As she tried to get there, she ran across some webbing that ensnared her legs, but she slipped her feet out of her webbed shoes to reveal her white socked feet and tugged at her socks to make them tear a little as it allowed her to keep running. As she was inches from the door, it suddenly slammed shut sealing Alex in.

"No! No let me out!" Alex screamed pulling on it hard, but two thick globs of webbing were splattered on the door hinges ensuring it couldn't be open for some time. "No! No! No!" Alex scream with her friends screaming at her from behind their silk gags while she tugged on the door till Alex felt a prick on the back of her neck and her body went limp.

"Why?" She gasp out whimpering and tearing up as the spider began to wrap her some parts of her body in a thin sheet of silk to restrict her movements. With her restrained, the spider began to drag Alex back towards the web and set her next to her friends.

"Mrpmfmf." They all moan weakly as the spider seem to let out a happy sound as it and the tinier spiders began to wrap and weave globs of silk webbing over the trio slowly mummifying them. "Hrhrhrnmmm." They all groan into their webbing gags as they began to feel really warm under the silk as the silk was full of venom as well, which began to soak into their skin slowly making them dazed and lead them towards eternal slumber.

Natalie was too afraid to move, she just wanted to die already and be done with this hell. Hana struggled hard though along with Alex who mewed and squirmed lightly, but Hana’s struggles forced the spider to bite her leg through the webbing instantly ceasing her struggles. With them now completely helpless the smaller spiders along with the big one moved onto completing cocoon them and the thicker the webbing got the harder it was to stay awake and breath.

"Hmprmmmm." They moan one last time, the webbing covering their eyes and just as their vision went black they all saw Mina force her way into the apartment clueless at what was about to happen to her.

"Hey! You guys alright?" Penny asked as she was tapping Alex and company on the face after coming into their apartment to find some stranger odor in the air and with them all laying unconscious on the floor. She had opened the windows wide letting in some needed fresh air and once she woke them up they began to cough hard.

"What the hell?" Hana said with a pounding head.

"What happened?" Natalie asked.

"I feel sick." Alex said holding her stomach.

"Hmmm." Mina groan looking towards her science stuff. "Thats right, I came home, tripped and my chemicals mixed making this big red puff cloud appeared.

"Oh right!" Hana said remembering now. "How could you bring that stuff home?! It stays at school!" She snapped at her.

"Sorry." Mina said looking sad.

"Wasn't I in my room?" Alex asked.

"We were about to seal you in when Mina came in." Natalie said as Penny just giggled.

"Well I'm glad you guys are aright. Did you have good dreams at least?" She asked and right away the four girls looked horrified and scared. "Ummmm? Wrong question I guess?" Penny asked with a light laugh.

"Yeah, just a nightmare." All four said, unaware in a nearby corner a very big thick spider webbing still remain as evidence of what happened that night.
