Spring Break in the Jungle

Spring break, it was a time for over thinking students on the edge of a brain meltdown shed their school routines and toss the books off to the side for a week and being partying till you drop. Deep in Mexico’s jungle were two such women which they were inside of a jeep that was driving on a long a open dirt road next to a jungle.

One was named Kerry who had long black sleek looking hair and with a matching healthily slim body. She was currently dressed in a white tight t-shirt with denim jeans with brown boots with dark socks peeking over the boot edge.

Next to her was a female with short dirty blond hair who’s body was slightly out of shape but still had a good look. Her name was Stephanie. and unlike Kerry who was kind and nice and fun loving she was more rude and self absorb with the tendency to make a party go bad and she was wearing a dark purple shirt with jeans and black boots.  

“Are we there yet?” Stephanie asked irritated as she had finished all the magazines she had brought to read.

“Does it look like it?” Kerry replied. “Besides why the hurry to go to a bar when you work in one everyday?”  

“Because I need a drink to ignore this heat!” Stephanie replied as the jeep’s air conditioner had broken long ago and the cool air that once filled the inside was nearly replaced with a hair killing humidity.

“Were almost there as long as-” Kerry began to say as the Jeep engine began to make noise before the vehicle came to a stop. “As long as nothing happens to the jeep….” Kerry said with a sigh as Stephanie began to curse angrily.

“Are you fucking kidding me? Can you fix it?” Stephanie asked as Kerry went out and checked the engine and came back shaking her head. “Great.” Stephanie said as they grabbed their stuff and began to walk the rest of the way on foot.

“As long as we follow the road, we’ll safely get to the city soon.” Kerry said as the sun beat down on their untan bodies.

“Screw the road and this heat, I’m going into the jungle where it should be shorter and cooler.” Stephanie said as she got off the road and headed for the thick green jungle.

“What do you think your doing? Who knows what is in that place, get back here Stephanie!” Kerry shouted at her being very concerned.

“See you in the bars!” Stephanie shouted back as she ran into the jungle like a blind fool.

“Idiot.” Kerry sighed as she kept to the roads.

“Heh, I’ll beat her to the town and rub it in her face that going through the jungle was the better option.” Stephanie said confidently as the jungle began to grow dark and strange noises could start being herd. “At least I hope it was.” She said growing a bit scared and as she focused on the path ahead of her she failed to notice the lines of vines below her.

By the time she noticed she was stepping on something odd, she was jolted upwards as a net of vines wrapped around her and dangled her from the trees.

“Ahhhhh! What the hell?!” Stephanie cried out as she began to struggle but the net was too tightly woven for her to move much less break free.

“Wooohhh, ahhh, nah, ehhhehehehh.” A voice sounded out below as Stephanie look down to see a woman clad in animal clothing come out of nowhere with her body and hair a mess with dirt and mud.

“Hey, hey you! Let me down now since you’re doing nothing!” Stephanie shouted at her which the woman look at her with a hungry look.

“Gaaaa, ohohhh, na, na!” The woman replied in a strange language as she let the net down but didn’t undo it’s knots that kept it close.

“Hey, let me go now you mud cave hick!” Stephanie shouted out as she struggled more but the woman didn’t pay her speaking any attention as she dragged off the scramming Stephanie.

“Beat her to town!” Kerry shouted happily as she finally reached their destination but she looked around and saw Stephanie no where in sight. With Kerry having all the money and needed info for the hotel she knew Stephanie would have to wait for her. Kerry look towards the jungle feeling a sense of guilt and a dreaded feeling.

“Guess I have no choice.” She sighed as she set her stuff down and entered the thick jungle hoping to find Stephanie soon. After some searching she did find her only that she was now in the company of a jungle dweller who was currently putting together a fire pit as if she was going to roast a pig.

“What the hell?” Kerry said shocked as she kept her voice down as she looked at Stephanie who was clearly scared as thick vines wrapped all around her body and pinned her limbs and body to a thick tree as what appeared to be gooey mud over her mouth which gagged her. “Got to get her out.” Kerry said as she sneaked around the area, being careful not to step on anything that would give away her presence to the jungle woman.

As the woman began to light a fire, Kerry reached Stephanie and shh at her.

“Mrmrmrpmr!” Stephanie grunted at Kerry.

“Just be quiet.” Kerry hushed at her as she peeled off the harden mud from Stephanie’s face where she spat out a mixture of leafs and mud from her mouth.

“It’s about god damn time you saved me! Do you know how badly these vines are cutting into my skin? I can’t believe how long you took your sweet ass time getting here!” Stephanie yelled out drawing the jungle woman’s attention.

“Stephanie you idiot!” Kerry shouted as the woman began to run at her.

“Gaaaaaaahhhhhh!” The jungle woman scream out as she charged at Kerry.

“Crap crap crap!” Kerry yelled out as she started to run but quickly tripped on a tree root that was sticking out. “Nooooo!” Kerry cried as she tried to get up but the jungle woman was on her in no time and before long she was being dragged back to the camp as the jungle woman grabbed more vines along the way.

“Mrmprmrprmrm.” Both Kerry and Stephanie glared at each other as they were angry with each other for screwing up. Meanwhile the jungle woman was adjusting her fire pit for a second person.

“Mprmrpmr!” Kerry grunted into her animal skin gag as Stephanie had been regagged with gooey mud which made her more angry since Kerry had gotten a soft animal cloth for a gag. Kerry just watched the jungle woman and knew they didn’t have long till they would be cooked alive if they were kept alive.

A sudden movement above made both girls look up and go wide eye in fear as many poison insects, spiders and small creatures moved about as if they were eying the girls for their own food.

“Mmpmpmrpm.” Kerry moan, knowing if the jungle woman didn’t eat them then the wildlife would. As she kept struggling she herd Stephanie’s stomach growl which made herself hungry and wishing she could enjoy one last meal. It was then Kerry remembered she had a quick snack bar in her back pocket and began to twist and turn her arms and after a little work managed to free it enough that she got the bar.

“Mmrmrmom.” Stephanie moan as she watched and then glared at Kerry for eating something at a time like this.

Kerry ignored Stephanie as she rubbed the sweet bar which was melting already all over the vines and just waited. Before long she herd what sounded like small animals feasting on the vines and with a joyful look the vines snap and she was free.

“Ooooggghhhh.” The jungle woman said looking happily and then herd a noise and turn around to see one of her meals free. “Arrrrgggh!” She scream out.

“That’s right, start screaming!” Kerry shouted as she tossed something at the woman which was none other than a black widow spider which landed on her head. The woman knew the dangers of the local wild life and ran screaming off into the jungle which all the insects and animals that had been watching them ran off after the jungle woman.

“Mmmmrrmprmr!” Stephanie shouted happily as Kerry freed her.

“You took your sweet time-” Stephanie began to say before Kerry gave her a serious look.

“Say another word and I’ll leave you here!” She said knowing she could out run Stephanie.

“I, uhh was just saying you took your sweet time figuring a way out of that mess. Lets just go get wasted already alright?” Stephanie said trying not to invoke her friend away.

“Sounds good, time to get drunk and shake what our momma's gave us!” Kerry said as they made their quick exit from the jungle before anything else came after them.
