It was the middle of summer for Heroic town and as a dark haired Jane entered the highway that lead to her job wearing a dark blue business suit with dark tights she began to grow impatient as she was now stuck in a gridlock. Fall, Winter and Spring the highway was usually pretty good and clear. But in the summer time when the tourist came flocking to or through the town it turn into this mad house.

"Come on! Move it!" Jane shouted out to the black car in front of her as she honked her car horn loudly.

"Grrrrr." The man in the black car growled as he wore an outfit similar to a evil villain complete with cape and small mustache.

"Come on! My 100 year old grandmother could tell a story faster than this!" Jane shouted out with more loud honks.

"Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr." The man in black car growl more as his fingers dug into a steering wheel.

"Come on! I've seen honey being poured go faster!" Jane shouted out once more breaking the man's will.

"That's it!" He shouted as he got out of his car and stomp towards Jane's. "You need to quiet down lady!" He said looking angry.

Jane looked at him and rolled her eyes, she could tell by his appearance that he was a villain. People who made a living by kidnapping damsels and in the getting beat up by heroes. This was due to Jane living in a world where fairytales and stories of such things came to life.

"Let me guess? You’re late to kidnap someone aren't you?" She asked in a annoyed tone.

"It's actually my day off madam! Now as you can see no one is moving so stop honking your horn!" He told her sternly.

"Or else what?" Jane said as she honked the horn a few more times.

"Don't push me!" He warned her which made her honk the horn ten more times. "Gaaahhh!" He cried out as he went back to his car.

"I showed him." Jane said with a laugh as she reached over to take a sip of her coffee, after setting the cup back down in the cup holder she look back up to see him opening up her car door. "Hey what are you doing!?" She cried out as he held a coil of rope in hand.

"What I do best Miss damsel." He said as he quickly tied her up by binding her wrists and then wrapping a thick layer over her arms and upper body. He then quickly bound her ankles and stuffed a dark green cloth into her gasping mouth and tied another over her mouth to hold it in.

"Mrpmmmmm!" She cried out through the cloth as she kept struggling and wiggling.

"I know how to handle damsels like you." He said as he carried her back to his car.

"Mrprrrmrpmr!" Jane kept crying out as his trunk was pop open. "Nrnrrnrnr!" She cried out more.

"In you go." He said setting her in.

"Mrrrmrmrmrm!" She cried out one more time before he shut the lid shutting her in.

He took a moment to drive her car to a turn off that was right next to them and then waited for the traffic jam to lighten up so he could go back to his hideout.

----------

"Mphphprmrm!" Jane cried out as she was now tied to a chair as her legs were bound to the chair legs. More rope encircled over her tight layer of rope binding her to the chair as the cloth still kept her gagged.

"Muwahahahahaha!" The villain laughed out evilly as he stood over her triumphantly. "Now I have you, uhhhhh" He said as he held up his clock to take a peek at her license he got from her purse. "Jane! Now I have you Jane and you won't be honking anymore today!" He assured her.

"Mrmrrmrmrmrmr!" Jane whined out fearfully.

"Don't worry." He said whispering as he abandoning his evil persona for a moment. "I got a temp hero to come and save you." He assured her as it was his job to kidnap, taunt and put a damsel towards her doom only to be saved at the last second by some strong mighty hero.

"Mrrmrmr!" Jane cried out not feeling any better.

"Now, that hair looks rather nice. I think it needs a new style!" He said holding up a blow dryer and laughed evilly.

"MRRMRRPMRRMR!" Jane cried out as she just had her hair done for $100. To have it ruin now would be nothing short of evil.

"Muwahahahaha!" The villain laughed out as he seem to take his time and as he did he kept looking at the clock as he was waiting for the hero. "Uhhh, excuse me." He said dashing over to the phone and calling up his secretary.

"Debby, where is the temp you called?" He asked as a voice spoke over the phone. "What?! What do you mean he's running late? Well where is he?!"

Currently at the highway Jane and the villain where at not too long ago was the hero in his car stuck in the same traffic jam.

"Oh come on! I could have been to the milky way and back by now!" The hero cried out as he wore blue spandex with a gold cape and all the other hero clothing.

"Oh shut up underwear man." A nearby citizen shouted out.

"What was that?" He called out not getting anything back. "Grrrrr, some days." He said shaking his head as he saw a turn off. "Well it's got to be faster than this."

He drove his car off the highway and into the turn off before a sudden break noise was herd followed by a crash.

"Oh come on! Who just parks a car in the middle of a turn off!" The hero shouted as he slam into Jane's car.

"HAHA!" Some people laughed at him from the highway.

"Don't make me go villain on you idiots!" He called out to them with a shaking fist as he groaned. "Days like this I wish I could fly." He said shaking his head before his eyes widen and he face palm hard. "I can fly! What am I doing?!" He shouted out as he flew through his car roof and towards his destination.

------

"Just perfect." The villain said slamming down the phone. "Enough of this." He said going back over to Jane.

"Mrmrmmmm." She moan hoping he abandon the hair dryer threat.

"Look, it's my day off. My saw blades are in the shop being sharpen, my crocodiles are at the vets being checked and my acid tank is being scrubbed clean today. So you can go, I think I made my point." The villain said untying her and ungagging her first.

"Soooo, this damsel thing. How does one join up for it?" She asked.

"Huh? Why you interested?" He asked as he struggled to undo the knots.

"Well, this isn't too bad. Tied up, feeling helpless. I could get use to this." Jane said as she enjoyed the feel of the ropes as she struggled weakly again.

"Well if you want." He said as he came back with a form and help her quickly fill it out. "Just initial here and here." He said as he placed a pen into her bound hands and she gave some very crooked X's. "I'll submit this to the Evil Control Org and they will contact you."

"So if I may ask, why do you do this? Who pays you to just be beaten up day in and day out?" Jane asked curious.

"This is actually a Government job, being evil and kidnapping. It gives the superheroes that fly around all day something to do. The benefits of this job is pretty good too, did you know I take trips to like Hawaii and Jamaica every year?" He told her.

"Huh, maybe I should be a villain?" She said making him laugh.

"Just be a damsel for now." He said leaving the room to file the paper.

“Now what?” Jane wondered as she struggle weakly again in the rope bindings.

"Have no fear, I am here to save you!" The hero said busting into the room as Jane gave him a flat look.

"You were so slow I could have experienced all three death traps by now." She said with a flat look as the hero looked sorry. She could only hope she got a better hero once she became an official damsel.

The end.
From a recent poll, a follower of mine :iconcreated-by-caz: Mentioned how she hates the summers and the traffic it brings in. So that gave birth to this rather funny idea of a story. I hope you all enjoy it and get a few laughs.

As always, read, comment and fav.
